Caleb and Ashlyn met in 8th grade. They sat together in History and Art classes. As the school year progressed, they caught each other's eye. Ashlyn joined the track team that year to be closer with her best friend Taylor, and quickly learned that the cute boy in her classes was also a track star. On April 27, 2016 they began dating and quickly realized the bond was special

After 4 years of high school, competing on the track team together, supporting each other at football and softball games, and being voted Most Likely to Get Married during senior year superlatives they took on long distance through college. The relationship continued to grow as they found that distance truly does make the heart grow fonder. Ashlyn went from being a teammate to being Caleb's biggest fan as he continued running track. With graduation in May, they are ecstatic about their future together. In marriage they look forward to moving to North Carolina, traveling, and growing closer to God together.
